3 World's Tallest Statue


For some people, only act as an ornamental statue at home. Size was not so high, probably about 3-4 meters. However, these three sculptures that have more than 100 meters high.

Spring Temple Buddha (China)

LOCATED in Conty Lushan, Henan, China, this statue stands near Fodushan Scenic Area National Freeway near the 311 number. Has a height 128 meters with an additional 20 meters crown, Spring Temple Buddha is the tallest statue in the world. The project cost is estimated to use approximately U.S. $ 55 million, with U.S. $ 18 million was spent on the statue. Overall the sculpture is composed of 1,100 copper with a total weight of 1,000 tons. Just below the monastery there is a statue of Buddha.

Spring Temple Buddha inspired the name of a place that is issued Tianrui Hot Spring hot water with temperatures around 60 degrees Celsius. There is also Foquan Temple made in the Tang dynasty. Property nicknamed 'Bell of Good Luck' has a bronze bell weighing 116 tons.

Laykun Setkyar (Myanmar)

HAVE 116 meters high, is the tallest statue Laykyun Setkyar second in the world. Located at Monywa, Myanmar, sculpture construction started in 1996 and completed on February 21, 2008: creator, chief abbot ven Narada had died on 22 November 2006.

Yellow light characterizes this statue. No wonder if every year, Laykun Setkyar attracted many visitors from abroad. Opened on February 21, 2008, the statue is worth to be visited if you are visiting Myanmar.

 

Ushiku Ddaibutsu (Japan)

LOCATED IN Ushiko, Prefekture Ibaraki, Japan, this sculpture won the title as the highest number three in the world. Completed in 1993, this statue has a height of 120 meters toal. There are lifts that will transport visitors to a height of 85 meters is where the observation room. This property has a bronze Buddha Amitabha, known also as Ushiku ARCADIA (Amida's Radiance and Compassion Actually Developing and Illuminating Area). In sculpture, there are four buildings with some of the museums.

At level 1, there is an infinite light and infinite life which is a basic part of the room. Then, at level 2 (10 meters) there is world of gratitude and thankfulness that contains scripture. Level 3 (20-30 meters) there is world of the lotus sanctuary containing 3,000 gold Buddha statue replicas. Meanwhile, at level 4 (80-85 meters) there is room of Mt Grdharkuta contains parks and a mini zoo.
