executive summary by darmansjah

nestled within the exclusive enclave of Taling Ngam on the west coast of Koh Samui. InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort is the epitome of high-end tropical living. Lead by a multinational team in association with some of the region’s best-known consultants, the stunning 9-hectare property boasts 79 luxurious guest residences, seven sparkling pools, a cliff-top spa perched 120 meters above the sea, and a private beach with a 150-meter licensed jetty. Twelve signature standalone Beachfront Pool villas are just steps away from the shoreline, showcasing opulently appointed living and lounging areas in addition to private sundecks, swimming pools, and 24-hour butler service.

Set amid a sanctuary of lush gardens, the site has been listed in the New York Times No.1 best seller 1000 Places to See Before You Die for its never-ending vistas across the famous five islands and Angthong National Marine Park, visible from all guest room, suites, and villas. The views are equally enthralling from the hotel’s Air Bar, an ultra-sleek lounge bar where an extensive range of signature, traditional, and molecular cocktails focuses on fresh flavors and unique local ingredients. Guests can also satisfy their culinary cravings with gourmet Thai and Asian cuisine at Amber, or with seafood and meat cooked ‘live’ at Flames, the beachside grill.

Intercontinental Samui baan taling ngam resort offer classes in tai chi, yoga, and Thai Boxing, among other fitness programs. Thrill seekers can also take a trip to Koh Tao (“Turtle Island”) to explore the crystal-clear waters and marine life of one of Thailand’s best diving sites.
