Located 30 kilometers south of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya is known for being the
federal administration capital. However, it does offer a variety of attractions, boasting the
largest botanical garden in Malaysia, Wetland park, the first man-made wetland
in the country; and numerous agricultural parks, where fresh fruits sampling
and rubber tapping observation can be
done. From 15 to 18 March, thousand of visitors are expected to flock down to
Putrajaya for the annual Putrajaya
International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta. This festival is a display of unique
balloons from around the world, including participants from the United States,
Belgium, Poland, Netherlands, France and many more.
Don’t miss out the ‘Night
Glow’ event on the 17th evening where the balloons will illuminate
the sky, accompanied by a dazzling display of fireworks.
Jetstar Airways and Singapore Airlines fly from Singapore to
Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
