What makes the capital of
Denmark is often chosen as the most livable city in the world? None other than the bicycle as primary transportation. Nearly 50 percent of the population of the city, young and old, using a bicycle to support the daily activities. So many cyclists, the city possess a special lane for two-wheeled vehicles along almost 400 miles! For citizens or immigrants who forgot to bring bikes, bicycles are available that can be borrowed only with a deposit valued at EUR 20 (U.S. $ 3.65). equipped with a means of transportation that are no less efficient as metro and bus, the air here feels fresh thanks to the low levels of pollution and the many parks in various corners of the city.
