The Best of Sorrento

This is a beautiful hotel on the cliff's of Sorrento on Naples Bay. You are immediately greeted by the wonderful hotel staff (Francesco in particular) who show you around the resort. It seemed as though everything in Sorrento is within walking distance of this hotel. Snacks and drinks (including alcoholic) are available from 10am to 9pm throughout the day, which is a nice perk as you go about your day. Our room was on the top floor overlooking the Bay. The balcony was a little small but we didn't spend much time out there. We did not know the room had room darkeners until our last morning so I would suggest you ask how they work when you are taken to the room. The sun deck is very nice and the staff there were very accommodating and friendly. It's only a short elevator ride and walk to get there.

The hotel restaurant was outstanding. Our meal was the best meal we had during our 2 weeks in Italy. The pianist was terrific and you can't beat the view of the sunset. Even if not staying at this hotel, highly recommend the restaurant.

I'm not sure we would stay here again due to the price but would recommend the hotel if it's within your given price point.
